Company History
With over 30 years of combined experience within the home care industry, the executive leadership of ContinuLink has firm roots within the industry. In our industry many software solutions are developed by technology professionals with little industry knowledge; however that cannot be said about ContinuLink. This web-based software solution was developed by the homecare industry for the home healthcare industry.
Satish Movva joined Interim HealthCare to serve as Chief Information Officer. Mr. Movva joined Scott Brashears, Director of Development and both were charged with the turnaround of the Information Technology department and all aspects of technology. Realizing an immediate need for a software solution for the organization an intensive search ensued.
In June of 2002 after an intensive search for a software vendor that could meet the needs of a geographically distributed, organization with over $650M in annual sales spread over 320 locations and specializing in Home care, Hospice, Supplemental Health staffing and private duty turned up no capable product, the Interim HealthCare Board of Directors approved the development of an in house software.
After much time spent in researching and analyzing the needs of home care agencies, coding of the software commenced in February of 2003. In September of 2004 the Interim HealthCare software known as interlink goes live in the very first company owned location. Within nine months all of the Interim HealthCare owned locations were live on interlink. In January of 2006 the first of many Interim HealthCare franchises to choose interLink went live.
In June of 2009, realizing the greater potential for their home grown software solution, interlink spins off from Interim HealthCare to become a separate entity known as ContinuLink Health Technologies. Satish Movva becomes Chief Executive Officer and Scott Brashears becomes Executive Vice President of ContinuLink and prepares the company for their re-brand and launch. In October of 2009, ContinuLink was officially launched as a new software provider at the National Association of Home Care and Hospice Annual Meeting and Exposition.
Following the success of the launch, ContinuLink signs their first ContinuLink client on March of 2010. An additional forty-two new customer's sign on within the first year and a star is born. Seeing the potential in the technology and the company as a whole, the Procura Group acquires ContinuLink in June of 2011.
Today, ContinuLink has over 6,600 users at more than 250 client sites in North America, managing over 19,000 employees in their Medicare, Medicaid, Private Duty, and Supplemental Staffing lines of business and continues to grow at a rapid rate. This growth can be attributed to their product's scalability, sophistication, its strong billing functionality designed specifically to handle the complexities of Medicare, Medicaid and Waiver program and the ability to easily handle clients with multiple payer categories.
